“We invested in 3 nitrogen machines from D
Marsh Company and they’ve been very easy for our guys to
use. We’ve converted hundreds of light-duty vehicles and
heavy-duty trucks and we’re very happy with them. The
controls have worked very well and handling the cylinders
has been no problem at all for us. The mobility of the cart
is important to us because we can move it where we need it
and clear an area of the machine when we’re not using it. We
pay only $4.60 for a medium sized cylinder, which is only
about 50 cents a light-duty vehicle for the nitrogen and
green valve stem caps. We researched nitrogen generators,
but why would we want to mess around with compressors and
air dryers when this is the most cost effective way for us.”

Orinda Motors was D Marsh Company’s 1st customer.
“In early 2006 we invested in the first generation DMarsh
Company nitrogen machine. It doesn’t have the bells and
whistles of today’s models but it has worked very well for
us. We’re very happy with it. We have converted half of our
customers and the machine paid for itself and more a long
time ago. Every shop should have one of these.

“I considered buying nitrogen generators because they
promised to make me free Nitrogen. But I learned there is
nothing free about it. It would have cost me so much more
over the lifetime of the equipment, I couldn’t justify it. I
would have had to buy larger air compressors, air dryers,
and pay for the installation of piping to distribute
nitrogen to my bays. Plus, my operating costs would have
skyrocketed from higher energy costs to run the compressor
and dryer, not to mention the ongoing maintenance on the
compressor and generator. No way did that look as good as a
buck a car for nitrogen. My machine required no compressor,
no air dryer, no installation, and there is nothing to
maintain. Hindsight being 20/20, I definitely chose the
right route.”

Berger Chevrolet of Grand Rapids, MI.
Selling Nitrogen with our new car purchases has gone well.
Our customers regard it as an investment in their new car.
Our 90 day courtesy inspection also is an excellent time to
put Nitrogen in their tires. At that time we’re checking
their tires anyway, which are going to be few pounds low and
explain why. Our D Marsh machine has worked well for us. The
portability has been important to us. We wheel it back and
forth between our quick lube and new car service center.
There is never a question about the purity we’re putting in
our customers’ tires. It’s always 99.9%.”
